Step 1 - select your course or program

Step 2 - check entry requirements

You will need to check you meet our entry requirements.

Evidence of academic and English language requirements must be included as part of your application. You will need to upload certified original true copies of all documents required with your application.

If you do not meet the academic or English language requirements of your chosen course, you may wish to consider completing one of our pathway or preparatory programs.

Step 3 - check eligibility for credit

If you have previous qualifications, you may be eligible for advanced standing towards your Flinders University degree. You can search our credit transfer database to see if you are eligible. Make sure you let us know in your application you want to be assessed for credit transfer.

Step 4 - find an agent

Many students prefer to use an agent to assist them with the application process.

Students from certain countries must submit their application through a registered Flinders agent.

If there is not an agency in your country, please contact us for further advice.

Step 5 - apply online

There are different ways to apply to Flinders University, depending on your circumstances:

International students currently studying Australian Year 12

International students applying directly or via an agent

You can apply to study at Flinders University by submitting your application yourself via the link below, or via an authorised agent in your country. Refer to Step 4 to see if you need an Education Agent to assist with your application.

Step 6 - obtain certified documents

All academic documentation submitted to Flinders electronically must be certified. We also require certified copies of passports for applicants from some countries. Original documentation may be submitted by post or in person, but we are unable to guarantee return of these original documents.

Persons authorised to certify documents within Australia include:

a Justice of the Peace (currently registered in Australia)
a barrister or solicitor
a police officer
an employee of Australia Post
a Flinders International staff member
an official Flinders University agent.

Persons authorised to certify documents outside Australia include:

an Australian Embassy official or Australian Consular official
the registrar of the university that issued the transcript or parchment
a Flinders University staff member
an official Flinders University agent
a Notary Public (excluding India and Nepal).

Step 7 - submit your application and documents

You will need to upload all required documents prior to being able to submit your application so it is important you have these ready.

File types able to be uploaded include PDF, JPEG, TIF and GIF.

Step 8 - your application is now complete

Flinders University will send you and/or your agent an email confirming we have received your application.

The email will contain your Flinders University Application Number and you should take special note of this as you will need to quote this in any correspondence while your application is being assessed.
