Strategic planning and quality assurance framework

Flinders has an integrated framework for quality assurance and strategic planning.

The framework operates in the context of an annual quality assurance cycle, which has the following five elements:

• plan
• implement
• monitor
• review
• improve.

Flinders Way

The key aspects of the framework are explained in the booklet Flinders Way (PDF 408KB) . They are summarised below.

• Flinders Strategic Priorities and Future Directions 2006-2010 (PDF 778KB) This includes the University's goals, strategies and objectives in each of the four key areas of activity (education, research, international and community engagement).
• Operational Plan 2008.
  
• Key Accountability Measures (KAMs). These enable the University to monitor performance against goals.
