Organised by Flinders Ambassadors in the Community (FACes) during the Alumni Return as part of Flinders University 40th Anniversary celebrations.

Six witty, entertaining and thought provoking discussions presented by high profile specialist panellists, Flinders graduates, and University staff members on an array of topics such as the generational challenges to higher education; patients putting the health system on the examination table; profits and ethics in business; competitive funding for the arts; health claims and food fads, and the contemporary challenge of balancing terrorism and humanitarian law.

Like Youth, University is Wasted on the Young
An entertaining debate between Baby Boomers and Generations X & Y, with the younger generation arguing the affirmative.

Food, Glorious Food: from Chocolate to Chardonnay - the fads, facts and fiction of food
A panel of experts provide an entertaining insight into the merits, or otherwise, of various kinds of food.

Art Attack: the last arts survivor
Seven areas of the arts, ranging from literature and drama to cinema and visual arts "pitch" for funding to a panel of experts, with the audience "eliminating" them, one by one, until the final art form survives.

Our Health System - doing better, but feeling worse
A panel of practitioners "examine" the health system as a patient, and decide what intensive care treatment is required.

Saddam Hussein was Caught in a Hole: are terrorists digging a bigger one for the West?
A stimulating panel discussion about a topic of current interest to the general public. Held in conjunction with The Emergence of Customary International Humanitarian Law Conference organised by the School of Law, Flinders University and the Australian Red Cross.

Stretching the Boundaries: the dilemma facing Flinders Global Corporation - profits and ethics
A witty special meeting of a fictional board of company directors with the audience as the shareholders.
