Here at Flinders we want to assist you to get the best start possible at uni, both academically and socially. Universities are big places, and there is lots of new information students need to take in when starting at university. So its best to start reading and having a look around Flinders before you begin your studies and get busy.

Start Smart a comprehensive transition and orientation program will help you to settle in, find your way around and enjoy the academic and social sides of university life.

Give yourself a head start to university life and studies by attending as many orientation sessions as possible!

We've set up a Get Connected site for students in their first year. The site is full of ideas on how to make a great start to university. But if you do get stuck or have a question contact the Transition Office. Staff are always willing to assist no matter how small the question may be.
