Diana Azzam

Bachelor of Biotechnology

I love Flinders, I think it's great, I'll miss it.

Philip Stockwell

Bachelor of International Studies

I liked the university atmosphere, a lot of people having a good time and getting interested in different hobbies together. I lived on campus in uni hall - it was a very friendly atmosphere.

Kim Zuvela Bachelor of Economics
The staff were really supportive of my role as a parent right from the very beginning. When I went to enrol I was a couple of months pregnant and I saw the coordinator and I told her about my situation and she helped me sit down and work through the timetable and schedules.

Sunshine Elmore
Bachelor of Arts
My lasting impression of the university is probably the friendships I've made and the fact that people who would have been unlikely friends have been able to find each other. I think that's due to the fact that there is a fostering and encouraging environment here, rather than a competitive environment.

Steven Lennon
Bachelor of Arts
There are no problems getting the help you need - all you have to do is ask. There's enormous support here for people, particularly from a mature-age point of view, coming into tertiary education, which is a very big step.

Connie Ferraro
Bachelor of Behavioural Science
Facilities were excellent. Everything you'd need was there - computer access, internet access and a great library. I had a really great time here. It's just a really great place, filled with great people and a lot of great memories.

Susan Bennett
Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Environmental Health
I'm really pleased I came here - one because I'm mature-aged, two because it turned out I had a learning disability and the support, in terms of academic and emotional support, was just excellent.

Abdul Harul
Postgraduate in Health Studies
My father is half Aboriginal half Afghanistani and my mother is half Indian half Fijian and I have now experienced for myself the kind of support students with a similar background to myself receive - it's excellent.

Debbie Bruhn
Graduate Certificate in Health
Flinders have been really good in supporting distance education. It is just really easy to contact people and the library has always been really good in getting resources out to me.

Belinda Wyld
Bachelor of Psychology
It's an excellent uni because you've got the hustle and bustle in the plaza but you just have to walk down to the lake for some breathing space and you can clear your head for a minute. I really enjoyed it.

Shaun Williams
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic)
Interesting course, it has prepared me for the world in terms of being encouraged to participate in teamwork and also in the development of your public persona which is good for public speaking.

Pamela Lockyer-Scrutton
Masters in Public Policy and Administration
I've studied at all three universities, this one I think was more flexible, I really liked the opportunity of having access to a number of different services here.

Matthew Scholes

Bachelor of Nursing
I'm a local.I have always lived in the southern suburbs, so it was close for me to commute. Also, this is a major university that is very well thought of internationally and it has a great environment with an even better view, so I couldn't go wrong really.

Celia Chen
Masters of Primary Health Care
I came to the university because I liked Flinders' approach to education - it's very flexible. Flinders has got a very modern way of looking at education in that it allows you to explore the areas you're interested in rather than having to adhere to a set module they want you to investigate.

Sarah Shearing
Bachelor of Science and Business
I've had the best time here. Compared to other unis, Flinders has got that really friendly and fun atmosphere and I am really glad I came here.

Matthew Hopwood
Bachelor of Economics
The library is very good, and there are plenty of computers and the internet access for students who don't have it at home is extremely useful.

Joanne Ottaway
Bachelor of International Business
I am so glad that I chose to come to Flinders; the staff, students and atmosphere are just amazing. I'll always remember my time here.
