Development for ECRs

Early Career Researchers can participate in programs run through the Professional Development Unit and Research Services Office. See links below. Other programs are also run through Schools – contact the Chair of your School Research Committee for information about these.

Early Career Researchers are eligible to apply for ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Awards (DECRA). The Faculty Research Officer will organise for these applications to be reviewed by external reviewers prior to submission to the ARC. The reviewers are retired members of the College (formerly College of Experts). They provide feedback to the applicant on the complete DECRA proposal. This process occurs within a timeframe that allows revision in light of feedback prior to submission.
