As part of a major initiative with Cisco Australia, Flinders University is establishing a Cisco Academy to provide training and education in networking and cybersecurity.  As reported in the Australian Business Review -

South Australia’s Flinders University is set to become a key hub for Cisco’s Internet of Things (IOT) push in Australia, with the global giant signing an agreement with the institution to co-operate on the development of digital health and cyber security services. The partnership will see the establishment of an academy at the university’s Tonsley Park building, in which Cisco staff will provide training to students.

The Academy is working with its sister Academy at TAFE SA and provide courses that students can take and which will provide credit towards their Bachelor of Information Technology (Network and Cybersecurity Systems).
