From 1 February 2016, all University premises and sites, including all buildings, structures, car parks, outdoor areas and vehicles will be a smoke-free, fresh air zone, except for a selected number of specifically designated outdoor areas.

Sale and promotion of tobacco and tobacco related products are not permitted on University premises.

The University provides assistance to smokers, both staff and students, to reduce or give up smoking. Staff can access counselling services through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Students can seek support through University Health, Counselling and Disability Services.
