Researching your teaching
Research in teaching is increasing in importance as an area of work for some academics. The workshop will explore research in teaching as a component of academic work. It will introduce fundamental ideas and thinking influencing research on teaching; explore various purposes for such research and possible methodologies, and suggest possible locations to publish outcomes of such research.
Presenting your research
This course is to assist staff who are concerned about giving conference or seminar presentations. It will cover planning for presentations, organising a presentation, engaging with an audience, practicing, using voice and movement and making use of technology to enhance presentations.
