The Flinders University Museum of Art internship program provides opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain practical museum experience as part of their formal course of study. Previous interns have gone on to work in professional positions in art museums and galleries nationally and internationally.
Internships are offered within the fields of collection and archive management and are project-based.
Interns can develop skills in activities such as cataloguing, preventative conservation, integrated pest management and artwork storage and handling.
Please note that Flinders University Museum of Art offers a limited number of intern placements.
