As an undergraduate or postgraduate student at Flinders University, it is possible to apply to transfer to the majority of our courses by submitting an internal transfer application.
If you have studied at another institution and wish to transfer to Flinders University, or the course is not available for internal transfer, you will need to apply via the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).
International students apply for internal transfer through Flinders International. Please contact Flinders International for more information.

All applications received will be assessed against the minimum academic requirements and any additional requirements to be met including topic pre-requisites, portfolio/audition, work experience, etc for entry.
Flinderslink offers guaranteed entry to current undergraduate Flinders University students who wish to transfer to another Bachelor degree, and have achieved the required Grade Point Average after one full-time equivalent year of study in another Flinders Bachelor degree. This is a good option if you don’t get your first preference or if you decide to change career direction. Any additional requirements also need to be met.
Combining Bachelor degrees is a great way to pursue multiple passions and broaden your career opportunities. Combined Bachelor degrees give you an advantage for employment in competitive and rapidly changing workplaces, both in Australia and overseas.
If you want to study an approved combined degree option you can apply through the internal transfer process.
If you successfully complete the Flinders Foundation Studies program, you can apply to study your preferred Bachelor degree.
While selection for most courses is competitive, entry is guaranteed into some courses.
Students who are currently admitted to a Bachelor degree, can apply to complete a second study area within the Bachelor of Letters. Consisting of only 36 units, the course is normally studied part-time over three years thus adding one extra year to your overall program of study.

Students should apply for the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Vision Science) / Master of Optometry through SATAC (South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre).
Students wishing to apply for an Education degree must submit a Teaching Capabilities Statement with their application.
Direct applications for this course are open for:
1) applicants who will be completing the course in Sydney or Melbourne (and are not current Year 12's); or
2) applicants who wish to transfer from another Flinders course to this course; or
3) applicants who have completed at least one semester of full-time study in one of the following Flinders courses:
If the above is not relevant to you, you are required to apply for the course via SATAC.
Applicants applying for the Sydney or Melbourne course will need to select the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Effects and Entertainment Design) at Bedford Park when applying. They will be able to enrol into the Sydney and Melbourne topics after receiving an offer.

Current postgraduate Flinders students are able to apply to transfer to another postgraduate course internally, unless it is included in the courses not available for internal transfer list.
Bachelor graduates who wish to apply for a postgraduate course are required to apply via SATAC.
