TAFE and uni dual offers

You might think you have to follow a certain path to study at university, but there is another way. TAFE SA offers dual offer courses in partnership with Flinders University.

With a dual offer you can apply for both a TAFE SA and Flinders University qualification at the same time. This means that once you complete your TAFE SA course successfully, you will have guaranteed entry – with credit – into Flinders.

Studying a dual offer course is a great way to set yourself apart from other graduates. You will benefit from both TAFE SA and Flinders’ vocational experience and insights, as well as graduating with two qualifications instead of one.

How this works

• You will receive an offer to both TAFE SA and Flinders University, with the Flinders offer being conditional on successful completion of the TAFE SA qualification.
• You will secure your Flinders offer, pending successful completion of the TAFE SA award.
• No further application will be required.
• You will receive credit for your TAFE SA studies allowing you to complete two awards in 3 to 5.5 years dependent on the pathway selected.

This pathway is available at a number of TAFE SA regional and metropolitan campuses.

In most cases the total time taken to gain your TAFE and university qualifications will be greater than it would take to complete a single university degree.
