Lecturer, College of Business, Government and Law: Dr Rubi Cury
Dr. Rubi Cury is a former judo athlete who transitioned to academia, specialising in sustainability matters in sport. Holding a Ph.D. in environmental sustainability and sports policy, Dr. Rubi has accumulated over 12 years of experience studying and working in the sports industry and has been directing her research efforts to projects that support the sports industry transition to more sustainable operations.
She has been teaching sports management courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a record of publications in reputable journals within the field.
