Research Associate
College of Medicine and Public Health
I am currently working as a Research Associate at the School of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University. I am also an Affiliate Research Fellow at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) Women and Kids. I work under the Reproductive and Perinatal Pharmacoepidemiology Research Group.
I completed my PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Medical Statistics from the University of Newcastle, NSW, in June 2021. Before commencing my PhD, I completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in 2008 and a Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences (M.Pharm, Clinical Pharmacy) in 2015. In my PhD research, I investigated medication use among women with dementia, especially those residing in residential aged care.
My research ambitions are to leverage large healthcare datasets to produce high-quality evidence necessary for policy and practice recommendations. I am currently involved in a wide variety of studies, including reproductive pharmacoepidemiology, focusing on identifying and exploring the presentation, investigations, and management of various health conditions (e.g., endometriosis) among women presenting to Australian general practice.
