Keeping up to date HDR/early-career researchers - current methodology for setting up and managing alerts and digital notifications

Course description

This interactive workshop will guide participants through setting up both email and RSS alerts to keep up to date with new information on key research topics, people of interest, or when a new journal Table of Contents is available.


The workshop will also cover citation alerts and how they can be used to keep participants informed of when their work, or the work of someone they wish to follow, is cited.

This session will be in a computer lab but you can bring your own device if you prefer.

This interactive workshop will cover:
  • citation tracking
  • keeping up to date on people or field(s) of interest
  • setting up search and Table of Contents alerts
