To change your preferences on your SATAC application, you need to log back in to your application via the SATAC website and alter your preferences in the relevant section and make sure you select 'save'. View our Change of Preference video for more information.
An offer round is when you are notified by SATAC with a formal offer to study. Don’t be alarmed if you don’t receive an offer. Please contact 1300 354 633 or askflinders@flinders.edu.au for advice.

If your application to study at Flinders University is successful, you will receive an email with your offer letter from SATAC on behalf of Flinders. If you have received an offer to your first preference, this will automatically be accepted on your behalf in your SATAC application. You will still need to formally accept the offer with Flinders. It is important to read your offer letter carefully as it contains important information about how to accept your offer and may include an enrolment deadline to secure your place in your course.

Once you receive an offer it’s a great time to look into our range of scholarships available to Flinders students.
You will only receive one offer in each offer round.
If you are offered a 2nd to 6th preference course SATAC we will accept the offer on your behalf. To secure your place, you are required to formally accept in the Flinders system and enrol in your course as per the instructions in your offer letter. You will still be considered for your higher preference(s) in future offer rounds if you are eligible. Provided you formally accept your offer in the Flinders system and do not proceed to the enrolment stage, your offer will be deferred on your behalf. However if you receive a Flinders offer to one of the following courses, you will be required to either Accept and Enrol or Defer by a deadline as stated in your offer letter to secure your place in the course. Please read your offer letter carefully.

Follow the instructions in your offer letter from SATAC to activate your Flinders account which will allow you to begin your enrolment immediately via your student system.
If you started studying a degree at Flinders and decided that it wasn’t for you, you can apply to transfer to selected Flinders degrees via internal transfer. In March and April, Flinders will offer drop-in advice sessions on changing your course. Contact us on 1300 354 633 for assistance.

Join our Year 12 Taster Days. They're designed for you to get a taste of the study area you're interested in at Flinders. You will have the opportunity to speak to teachers, learn from current students, enjoy a free lunch and work in and tour our state-of-the-art facilities. Please note: These are events are for students currently in Year 12 in 2024.
