The Paramedic Unit

The Flinders University Paramedic Unit contributes to curriculum development, teaching and student support within the Paramedic Science degrees.

Our teaching is informed by evidence-based research across multiple disciplines including paramedic practice and education, emergency medicine, primary health care, safety and quality, pharmacology and physiology.

Study paramedics at Flinders and experience a unique balance between academic and practical learning. Our paramedics program is accredited by the Council of Ambulance Authorities (CAA) and is conducted in collaboration with the South Australian Ambulance Service (SAAS).
