Yes! Exercise and Sport Science and Exercise Physiology are fast-growing sectors. With growing clinical guidelines around the use of exercise for health and wellness as well as management of chronic diseases in the community, this presents exciting opportunities.
Opportunities exist in hospitals, community health units, workplaces, gymnasiums, aged care facilities, private health clinics, schools and not-for-profit organisations.
Yes, the Bachelor of Nutrition and exercise can be studied part-time or full-time.
Other degrees are studied on campus and focus on one area, preparing you for specific careers (for example, the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics leads to becoming a dietitian, while the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science prepares you to be an exercise scientist). The Bachelor of Nutrition and Exercise offers flexibility through online study and equips you with skills in both exercise and nutrition.

Flinders Online courses are available for Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, holders of Australian permanent humanitarian visas and Pacific Engagement visa holders.
International students in Australia who hold a student visa are not eligible to apply.

You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible and by no later than teaching commencement dates. If places fill, applications for your preferred start date may close without notice and you will be considered for the next available intake.
