Sustainability Governance

Flinders University is committed to taking practical action on sustainability and recognises that our leadership, decision-making and governance must uphold fundamental sustainability commitments and global responsibility.

As a university community, we actively collaborate to establish and participate in sustainability working groups and engage with local, state and national sustainability networks to drive meaningful change.

The Sustainability Advisory Group was established to help the University develop and implement a strategy aimed at improving sustainability performance and advancing the University Agenda. To ensure diverse representation, the group comprises students, academics and staff from various colleges and portfolios.

Sustainability Working Groups

The working groups are subgroups of the Sustainability Advisory Group and, as such, supports the implementation of actions and initiatives from the University’s 2030 Sustainability Strategy.
