Building the Allied Health Workforce for a NDIS Future
Chris has extensive workforce experience as a practicing speech pathologist and her expertise with regard to student learning in speech pathology has been recognised by university and national awards.
She will contribute her expertise on competency development, curriculum resources and educational strategies.
Lilienne will be responsible for the day to day conduct of the project and liaising closely with the placement facilitators and the participating services, placement educators and the students.
Stacie will contribute expertise regarding preparation for placement, structure and models for student placements, workplace learning, placement and inter-professional education, educator training and resource development.
Angela has extensive experience in the planning and evaluation of community and health services and projects, and in workforce capacity building. She will lead the evaluation component of the project.
Sue will contribute her academic expertise regarding health science students’ learning and service delivery on placements as well as her experience with and passion for ensuring that people with disabilities and their families have access to high quality services that meet their goals.
Placement Facilitator
Nicole will partner with key stakeholders to implement and resource student placement models and strategies. She will contribute to the development of a range of resources to support service providers in their engagement and facilitation of quality student placements.

Project Manager
Kristen will provide day to day project management under the direction of the project team. She will assist the team with ethics, research and executive issues.
Placement facilitators roles are designed to facilitate partnership with organisations and other key stakeholders to explore opportunities to develop and implement student placement models and strategies.
Facilitators also contribute to a range of resources that support allied health services to sustain the ongoing development of an allied health workforce capable of providing quality services to people with a disability in a market-style environment.
The placement facilitator will initially be involved in engaging with participants to understand the services provided, the placement educators’ roles and student involvement in the workplaces.
