Award winning cabaret performer, Ali McGregor, started her career as a principal soprano with Opera Australia then ran away with the circus in the form of hit show La Clique (La Soiree). She is now one of the most in demand performers on the international festival circuit, and with songs like ‘Who let the dogs out?’ & ‘Single Ladies’ everybody will be ‘Shufflin’ to the be-bop beats & hep-cat treats.
For over 30 years Peter Combe has captured the imagination of Australians young and old. With 3 ARIAS for Best Children’s Album and seven gold and two platinum CDs, Peter Combe is an icon of Australian children’s music. Did you know Mr Clicketty Cane (Wash Your Face in Orange Juice) has had over 3 million Facebook viewings?
It has been said that it’s impossible to feel unhappy when playing samba - it’s uplifting, high-energy, noise, seductive and addictive. Adelaide’s premier samba band, Jambu Loco is bringing the sound of the world famous Brazilian festival to Flinders. Come and enjoy the spectacular exhibition of Brazillian culture in collaboration with Sambatuka and dazzling samba dancers from Las Chicas Bomba.
Open to disabled and non-disabled singers of any age, Tutti Choir is renowned for its uplifting performances. Founded by Tutti Artistic Director Pat Rix in 1997, Tutti Choir is currently led by Carol Young. The Tutti Choir regularly performs in Adelaide, around South Australia and interstate. Some members have also performed in Vancouver and Minneapolis, and mentored other inclusive choirs.
Yellaka is the fusion of ancient traditional and contemporary Aboriginal dance, song and storytelling, performed proudly and respectfully by its young Aboriginal members.
Fire, water, earth and wind elements are elaborately interwoven with stories of creation spirits from across this sacred land.
