Defer your offer

You may be able to defer the commencement of your course until the following intake on the basis of compassionate or compelling grounds. This is subject to University approval.

The following courses are not deferrable:

  • Bachelor of Medical Science (Vision Science)/Master of Optometry
  • Bachelor of Midwifery (Pre-Registration)
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology
  • Doctor of Medicine

Applications for deferral will be reassessed according to the University's and Genuine Student guidelines.
