I have grown up learning to never give up on myself. One thing I keep in mind is to always have faith that you can do something you desire. I always felt like I stood out from the crowd.
Independent people who take time to understand what is best for them, lead their lives the best they can while having fun along the way, and enjoying every moment is something that inspires me.
Australia always pulled me towards it. The beaches, the diving and surfing life, the mixed culture, and the history of the place made me want to experience it. As a student, I think one gets almost all the perks of the experience.
Adelaide is a very beautiful city. It is a little slow-paced, compared to India, but it is calm and welcoming. The mixed culture here and the warmth of the people are what make it ideal for students. The university curriculum is vast to choose from and the teachers are very encouraging as well. This makes it easy for the students.
My top five accomplishments (both personal and professional) would be that I am an Open Water Diver with PADI, I have scripted, filmed, and edited an underwater documentary, I have hosted several events (online and offline), I was part of the editorial team for my undergrad Uni Magazine and I am a VC Scholarship Holder!
“Bound is the Boatless Man”, which is an old Viking proverb. I associate it with a motto in my life, which is not to be lost or be without purpose. If you have no one to live for, then live your life the best for yourself, this is the only way to be free or not “bound”.
My superhero power would definitely be time travel, but only into the past. I love history and I'm fascinated by all the stories I read. I would love to experience them in front of my eyes.
When I am not studying, I enjoy playing the sudoku. It also helps me as a stress buster. Apart from that, I like dancing, swimming and reading.
