Dr. Ali Shojaeipour obtained a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from UNE in 2021, with a research focus on developing state-of-the-art deep learning techniques for computer vision applications. This work led to significant advancements in AI-driven object recognition, particularly in precision agriculture, and resulted in the successful commercialization of research outcomes. He has a wide range of experience in project management and translating business challenges into data science and optimization problems, analysing various kinds of data to identify the stories behind the patterns, conclude actionable insights, and leverage machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems.
 
Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Computer Vision at Flinders University, where his work focuses on advancing machine learning methodologies for real-world applications.
