Dr Ashleigh Powell is a member of the Centre for Social Impact at Flinders, and a Lecturer in Marketing in the College of Business, Government and Law. She has a background in psychology, and therefore a strong understanding of the psychological, social, and biological factors that underpin individual attitudes, feelings, behaviours, as well as barriers and drivers of attitude and behaviour change. She is a mixed-methods researcher with a particular expertise in consumer psychology, experimental methods, and client outcome evaluations using quantitative tools. She has an interest in consumer health and wellbeing, and has worked on projects for the Foundation for Alcohol Education and Research and VicHealth.
She holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology (Hons) and a PhD in Marketing. Her expertise is primarily in quantitative methods, but she has experience in qualitative and mixed-method approaches.
