I am a writer and academic currently working at the Flinders University Academy, where I am the lead teacher for the creative industries diploma.

From 2013-2020 I was a casual academic at Flinders teaching English literature and professional communication.

I have written two books. My first, Drugs, Guns, and Lies (2020, Allen & Unwin), is a creative non-fiction work exploring undercover drug squad policing in 1980s Queensland. My second, Beenham Valley Road (forthcoming, Allen & Unwin), investigates the domestic abuse murder of Kirra McLoughlin in 2014 in Gympie, Queensland.

I review fiction for the Newtown Review of Books.
