Bridget is a Senior Lecturer at Flinders University with primary expertise in emergency nursing. She brings extensive hands-on experience to her teaching, providing invaluable insights to her students. Bridget is the Course Coordinator of the Master of Nurse Practitioner program at Flinders. In this role Bridget oversees the curriculum, supports student progression, and collaborates with faculty and key stakeholders to ensure the program meets the evolving needs of advanced nursing role. Bridget's Course Coordinator role includes mentoring students, enhancing course content to reflect current healthcare changes and challenges, and with the teaching team prepare future Nurse Practitioners for their advanced practice role. Her research interests centre on nurse education, particularly in fostering students' evaluative judgment, helping them identify the characteristics of quality work, and guiding them in benchmarking their performance to promote reflective practice.
