I am an early career researcher specialising in young-onset dementia, with a keen focus on vulnerable and minority populations. My mixed-methods PhD delved into modifiable risk factors for dementia in homelessness, including barriers to cognitive wellbeing and dementia risk reduction. Notably, my research emphasised the critical role of stable housing in mitigating dementia risk through a social determinants lens. With considerable experience in health, including roles with Dementia Australia, I have worked extensively with people experiencing young-onset dementia, culturally diverse groups, and those facing housing challenges.
