Dr Daniel Menadue

Dr Daniel Menadue is an agricultural scientist with expertise in plant molecular biology and plant phenotyping. He is currently a Research Officer in Agronomy at the South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI).

Dr Menadue completed his PhD at The University of Adelaide in 2018, where he evaluated the role of vacuolar proton-pumping pyrophosphatase genes in the development and stress tolerance of bread wheat.

Since completing his PhD, he has contributed to research projects at The University of Adelaide and SARDI and worked in plant breeding.

His current research focuses on agronomic management strategies to enhance oaten hay production and quality, as part of an AgriFutures Australia funded project (PRO-016615).
