Dr Erin Bubner

Erin Bubner graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Aquaculture in 2004 and then completed honours in 2005 and a PhD in 2012 at Flinders University. Her honours project investigated the live transport of the Australian greenlip abalone and her PhD investigated the captive breeding of the southern bluefin tuna, which was supported by industry linked Australian Seafood CRC grant. Prior to completing her PhD Erin was a Research Assistant at the Lincoln Marine Science Centre from 2006 to 2011 conducting laboratory based analysis for several industry linked Aquafin CRC Projects that focused on product quality of southern bluefun tuna. Since completing her PhD, Erin has been involved in many industry linked FRDC research grants, been on secondment from Flinders Unviersity to Clean Seas Seafood Ltd, demonstrated and lectured at a tertiary level for Flinders University, and is currently a casual academic at Flinders University to support the Marine Biology/Aquaculture degrees, has full academic status at Flinders University and is a self employed Research Consultant in the Aquaculture Industry.
