Research Officer, Trauma and Injury

Georga Sallows (Research Officer) is a junior researcher with a background in medical science and a deep commitment to public health. Georga has a strong passion for health equity and is committed to conducting research that advances scientific knowledge and addresses the needs of underserved populations through a strengths based approach. Currently working in the Discipline of Trauma and Injury in the College of Medicine and Public Health, Georga is the project officer for grants focusing on Out-of-Pocket Health Care Expenditure (OOPHE) and Indigenous Measures for Protecting and Addressing Critical Trauma (IMPACT) and contributing to Reversing Diabetes (Nra:gi Ya:yun) and Digitising Information for Practice in Public Health (SMART-PH) as well as a range of projects that aim to prevent injury among priority populations.
Georga enjoys spending time with the Public Health Dog: Chilli Sallows, running and exploring her creative side.
