Dr Hafij Ullah

Dr. Hafij Ullah has started as a Lecturer in Accounting at the College of Business, Government and Law. Prior to joining Flinders, Hafij has been teaching at several universities in Australia, Bangladesh and the United Kingdom for more than 16 years. He completed a PhD in Accounting at Macquarie University in 2019 and previously completed a Research Masters, MBA and BBA (Hons) from Chittagong University in Bangladesh.

Hafij is a member of CPA (Australia) and has achieved teaching qualifications, namely Senior Fellowship (2022) and Fellowship (2019) from Advanced HE: United Kingdom. Hafij is a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), awarded by the Association of Business Schools (UK).

Hafij's research interests include Social and Environmental Accounting, Pollutant Reporting and Accountability, and Accounting Education. So far, he has published four book chapters and eight research papers in top tier accounting journals including "Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal" and presented several papers at various national and international seminars and conferences.
