Jia Song is a Research Associate at the Health and Social Care Economics Group at Caring Futures Institute.

Her current research focuses on the economic evaluation of trial data, aged care-specific quality of life instruments, and quality of care experience measures with the application of Discrete Choice Experiments to elicit consumers to understand their preferences for aged care service. She is also passionate about the healthcare resource utilisation of under-served groups, such as people with dementia, and she participates in evaluating the BEFRIENDA program in Australia and the iSupport program in Greater China. Her other research interests extend to health preference, medical labour supply, gender equality in the medical labour market and the application of econometrics tools in health economics.
