Jill is an experienced and dedicated clinician and educator. She has broad and current clinical experience in both public and private practice sectors. She has worked in several clinical settings including acute care, emergency department and extended care, rehabilitation and extensively as a musculoskeletal private practice principal.

Jill has expertise in clinical education training and support. She has worked to expand clinical education delivery within the Master of Physiotherapy program, as placement coordinator (2014-2020), through new placement partnerships, models and the development of the Health2Go Student Physiotherapy Clinic, Flinders University. Jill is passionate about effective use of simulation in clinical education and embedding effective interprofessional education and practice.

Jill has held the positions of deputy chair of the Clinical of Education Managers of Australia and New Zealand (Physiotherapy 2018-2020) and Australian Physiotherapy Council International Registration Candidate Assessor (2012-2020).

Key responsibilities

Jill coordinates topics within the Master of Physiotherapy Program and teaches across the Bachelor of Health Science/MPT double degree. Jill remains closely involved in placement development and support, in addition to scholarship and research. She joined Flinders University in 2012.
