Katharine Perrotta is an Associate Lecturer in Academic Language and Learning at Flinders University, where she is responsible for coordinating and facilitating English for Academic purposes for the Student Learning Support Service. Her scholarship of learning and teaching interests include EAP, transition pedagogy, and equitable learning. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Screen and Media in the College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences. Her PhD, entitled The Lesbian as Double: Texts, Authors, Industry explores the limits of lesbian representability in contemporary queer cinema, focusing on constructions of industrial and authorial queerness. Her research interests also extend to contemporary fandom practices and digital media.
