Katie Cavanagh grew up in Los Altos, California while Silicon Valley was still emerging as a digital hub. She majored and completed Honours in English and also was a Sculpure Major for three years at North Adelaide School of Art. After graduating she worked as a Graphic Designer, Web Monkey, and Project Manager for TechWorks and TMP Worldwide. She currently lectures in 'hands-on' digital media topics where she happily frolics and explores the convergence and combination of text, design, image and meaning.
