Kristy is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a Teaching Specialist for the Nutrition and Dietetics program within the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Kristy is a Flinders alumnus, having completed her Master's in Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University in 1994. She has over 25 years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian, predominantely working in CALHN (Central Adelaide Local Health Network). Kristy commenced her academic career at Flinders University in 2021 and has been the Topic Coordinator across a range of topics, namely, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, The Nutrition Care Process and Communication and Nutritional Counselling. In addition, Kristy works in a clinical role as the Senior Rehabilitation Dietitian at CALHN where she has developed high level skills in working in multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to meaningful patient centred care outcomes at both a bedside and systems level.
