Dr Loretta Bowshall-Freeman is a lecturer, researcher, and supervisor for post-graduate research at the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work, Flinders University. She has supervised and mentored initial teacher education pre-service teachers in the Public, Catholic, and Independent school systems for over twenty years and has written and facilitated mentoring programs for teachers. Research interests focus on initial teacher education, with particular reference to the professional experience placement and education policy, mentoring and supervision, education assessment and evaluation, teacher professional development, and leadership in education.
