Lorraine Karunaratne

Lorraine has been engaged in formal leadership roles for nearly twenty years within the South Australian public sector and the higher education sector. She has led teams and units of higher education managers, administrative officers, business analysts and paralegals. She has managed projects and operations in complex environments, and has significant experience in driving and leading major change initiatives. These have involved business critical systems, organisational restructure, and major reforms driven by legislative, policy and strategic change.

Supported by undergraduate qualifications in teaching, and postgraduate qualifications in leadership and business administration, Lorraine has a passion for social justice and pursues opportunities to drive equitable outcomes for those in our community who face challenges in accessing services, healthcare and education.
