Dr Mark Keough

Mark is the Principal Consultant for digital education consultancy Meechi Road Consulting. He is the CEO of EdTech Startup, Intrinsic Learning (www.intrinsiclearning.com.au). He is a Nationally Registered Mediator and is a Consultant and Academic Board member for Le Cordon Bleu Australia. He has over 20 years of active experience as an entrepreneur in Online Education having undertaken large scale projects with Qantas, ANZ Bank, the Salt Lake City Olympics and Westpac. His primary interests lay at the frontiers of Digital Education and include assessment and recognition, experiential learning, xAPI and Health education standards, big data, learning frameworks, learning design, self-directed and self-determined learning and blockchain technologies.

Mark pioneered e-learning in Australia, staring one of the first Australian companies in the field in 1994. He immensely dislikes the term e-learning and prefers to simply work in learning innovation. He fundamentally believes in the transfer of learning power to the learner and is dedicated to this as a social imperative in the 21st Century.
