Mary-Ann Carmichael is a PhD candidate in the Cancer Survivorship Program within the Caring Futures Institute. Mary-Ann's research is focussed on the role of the radiation therapist in cancer survivorship care. Her thesis is examining current perceptions of the role in Australia and investigating future needs from both a patient and radiation therapist perspective.

Mary-Ann is a registered radiation therapist with extensive experience in both clinical and academic environments.
