Matt is a proud Flinders Law alumni and is pleased to return as Director of Flinders Legal Centre.  

Matt has most recently been a Principal at LK Law, a dispute resolution specialist firm. He has wide-ranging experience in civil and commercial disputes in Australia and internationally, involving regulatory and misconduct investigations, human rights, joint ventures, complex contracts, intellectual property and directors’ duties. He has also advised on risk mitigation, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.  

Matt’s clients have included public authorities, large and small corporate entities, educational institutions, indigenous bodies, sports governing bodies and liquidators.

Doyles Guide recognised Matt as a leading South Australian lawyer in the area of Administrative, Public Law and Judicial Review for 2024.  

Matt’s deep commitment to access to justice and legal education is demonstrated by his lead role in conceiving and establishing the Accessible Justice Project, a pro bono collaboration between LK and the University of Adelaide Law School. He has been a director and managing solicitor of that practice.

Matt has also been has been an Associate Teacher in Civil Procedure and Evidence and chaired the Adelaide Law School Advisory Board.
