Mayisha Ahmedullah is a chemist with a focus on the interface between materials science and public health applications. She is currently completing her PhD on developing polymer nanomaterials to sample viruses from water and wastewater environments for disease surveillance applications as part of the Institute for Nanoscale Science & Technology. Concurrently, Mayisha works as a Research Associate in Water Quality as part of the ARC Training Centre for Biofilm Research and Innovation in collaboration with industry partners.
