Mick is a researcher in maritime archaeology. Building on a naval career in hydrographic surveying and maritime training, Mick has research interests in cultures of fighting at and from the sea, in the archaeology of traditional wooden fighting craft, and in the visual aspects of maritime heritage.

Teaching interests

Mick is employed part time as an associate lecuterer in maritime archaeology. He teaches in the topic ARCH8150 Maritime Archaeology in Australia and in other areas of maritime archaeology.
