I have over 25 years of communications and marketing experience across the higher education, property, state government, utilities and NFP sectors.
My experience includes
- digital communications (social media marketing, developing intranets and presentations expertise)
- public relations/media/publicity for corporations, major events, products and services
- corporate communications including internal communications
- writing and publishing magazines, newsletters, strategies and reports (digital and hard copy)
- developing and gatekeeping brands
- planning and running major events / project management.
This is my second stint at Flinders University, having also worked as Project Manager in Optometry in 2014/2015.
An avid and open communicator, I have a passion for design and sustainability.

Matrixed to Property, Facilities and Development (PFD), I work with the strategic and capital development teams on communications and engagement for both major works (such as the HMRB and Factory of the Future) and renewal and enhancement works, operations and maintenance.
When you read stories about campus operations and building works in Flinders in Touch, see signs and hear about upcoming or ongoing works in your work area, it has most likely come from the PFD comms team. As strategy and sustainability also fit within PFD's remit, communications about our 2035 Sustainability Strategy and Campus Master Plan also come from us.
