Nicole Grivell is an Implementation Scientist, qualitative researcher and experienced primary care registered nurse. Nicole is interested in translation of research findings into practice, co-design of research with consumers, new models of care of sleep health care, care of individuals living with motor neuron disease, and health service delivery.

Nicole completed a Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) in 2019 exploring the experiences, education and attitudes of general practice nurses in relation to sleep health. She is now finishing her PhD which is focused on exploring the implementation of nurse-led models of care for chronic disease management and how this can be applied to sleep health. Nicole is very honoured to have been awarded the inaugural Nick Antic PhD Scholarship and a Flinders University Research Scholarship to support this study.

Nicole is also currently working as a research coordinator and as a sleep research nurse at FHMRI Sleep Health. Nicole is co-chair of the Primary Care Council and a member of the Conference Committee for the Australasian Sleep Association, is the HDR representative on the Executive Committee for FHMRI Sleep Health, and acted as the HDR Representative- Clinical Translation for FHMRI for three years.

Nicole is also employed as an Implementation Scientist at Institute for Breathing and Sleep at University of Melbourne.
