I undertook my PhD at City University London and Kings College London with the Blood Brain Barrier Group investigating drug transporters in the retinal pigment epithelium (Pgp). I performed invitro and in vivo experiments using RPE-retina whole mounts of bovine, chick and rana and cell culture (primary and cell lines in co-culture with retinal extracts. Currently I am exploring retinal biomarkers for neurodevelopmental disorders using time-frequency and AI to classify disorders.
