Ms Rebecca Starrs

Rebecca is the Deputy Teaching Program Director of the Social Work discipline. Additionally, Rebecca is the Course Coordinator for the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and maintains leadership responsibilty for this Degree.
Rebecca holds active leadership, membership and responsibility in the following groups:

- Chair of the Social Work Student Course Advisory Committee

- CEPSW Workload Taskforce Committee
- Teaching and Learning Coordination Group
- Inter Professional Practice in Child Protection Research Team member
- Member of the SA Health Statewide Social Work Advisory Group
- Member of the Mental Health Pathways Working Group
Rebecca has responsibilty as the Topic Coordinator for both the BSW and BSW Honours Field Education 2 Topics.

Rebecca has a specific interest in critically analysing structural, political and systemic influences, that either impede, and/or enhance social work student learning, practice and best outcomes for clients.
