Renato Musolino is one of South Australia’s most respected, experienced, and acclaimed actors and actor trainers. He trained as an actor at the Centre for the Performing Arts (SA). He has worked nationally and internationally with leading companies including State Theatre Company South Australia, Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir Theatre, Bell Shakespeare Company, Griffin Theatre Company, Windmill Theatre Company, ABC Radio National, and the South Australian Film Corporation.
As an actor trainer/lecturer, Renato has worked at tertiary level for over twenty years, specialising in Laban Movement Analysis, movement for actors, psycho-physical acting, devising, improvisation, directing, and text/scene work. He is currently Lecturer in Drama at Flinders University Drama Centre, where he has made significant contributions to the development of the Bachelor of Creative Arts Drama curriculum, along with the Drama Well-being and Welfare protocols.
