I currently work as a full-time researcher at Cancer Council SA, working on projects focussed on the unmet supportive cancer care needs for those living in South Australia, determinants of vaping behaviour and perceptions, and population health surveys. I am also an Adjunct Associate Lecturer at Flinders University with the college of Education, Psychology and Social Work, having supervised several honours students’ projects around soft drink and water messaging, and cancer risk perceptions in relation to modifiable behaviours.
Completed a research PhD in Psychology at Flinders University in 2022. The topic of the PhD was reducing soft drink consumption using nudges, completed under the supervision of Prof. Eva Kemps, A/Prof. Ivanka Prichard, and Prof. Marika Tiggemann.
I have worked as a Research Associate in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work. I have been previously employed as a casual Academic/Professional at Flinders University, working as a Tutor and Marker across Psychology and Health Science topics, as well as a Learning Advisor for the Student Learning Support Service. I also previously chaired the Higher Degree by Research Student Committee for the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work.
